Villa Angeliki

An easy 30 minute drive from Chania airport, villa Angeliki is tucked away in the most peaceful backwater-Megala Chorafia,. This cosy teracotta tiled villa has the most spectacular views over the Lefka Ori (or white mountains). The property has a large private terrace with shade being provided by a Carob tree. Outside you will find a traditional bread oven, well stocked logstore and plenty of seating. An outside dining table with four chairs is provided alongside two sunloungers.  

Although secluded, this property is by no means isolated. The village store is a 15 minute stroll, and stocks all of the day to day essentials. There are also two tavernas and a bar also within a 15 minute walk. The village store and taverna closest to the property are open all year.

Snow can often still be seen on the peaks of the Lefka Ori as late as the beginning of June. However, the temperature on the terrace at Angeliki is more likely to be in the mid 70's.

The property provides one large double bedroom and one twin, bathroom with shower and an open plan kitchen diner/living area. The kitchen provides a small oven/grill with three ring hotplate,microwave,freezer, fridge with freezer compartment, sandwich toaster, coffee maker etc. Other facilities include ironing board plus iron,CD player and large oscillating fan. The living/kitchen area is dominated by a large traditional stone fireplace and is furnished in traditional Cretan style. For out of season, heating is provided by one wall mounted electric convection  heater, calor gas, and large wood burning stove (Log store is kept fully stocked for your convenience).
